ABC Baby Photography is portraits in black and white and color of newborns, babies, toddlers and school age children as old as Senior’s in high school. I specialize in photographing babies and children because I have had the most experience with that age. I can do family pictures, maternity portraits, mommy and baby and daddy and baby pictures as well.

I can meet you at a beautiful park-like setting of your choice, in front of a museum or other historical building, or even at your home. I will meet you anywhere in Kansas City or surrounding areas. I love to photograph children just being themselves at play or doing what shows their true personality. I can also do posed or formal photos. Please allow up to 3 hours for your photo session. Newborns and small children may take longer due to feedings, changing and resting between photos. This is normal and perfectly fine and you will not be made to feel rushed. We will do what we have to in order to get the best, most natural pictures of your child.

Before we begin our photo session I will need to talk to you in advance to prepare you for clothing tips as well as props and hair accessories, etc. We will need to schedule at your child’s happiest time of day. I have been working with children for several years and I will have to take a little time to sit with the child and talk to them. Maybe learn their interests and get them happy about taking pictures so they can relax and be themselves. I don’t want them to feel afraid of me. This is important in getting natural shots and happy expressions. I have a lot of time and patience, so don’t worry if your child isn’t thrilled about getting photographed. I have some tricks that might make them smile. If we are scheduled to take pictures outdoors, there needs to be sufficient sunlight in order to get the best quality picture. We will have to reschedule if we have rain or other bad weather.
